Hi, I’m Patrick. I have written this children’s story because my wife and I have a son named Danovan. During one of our ‘Road Trips,’ there were sights along our travels that resembled countryside similar to Jurassic Park. My wife and I started creating a story that dinosaurs, T-Rex, flying Pterodactyls, and prehistoric creatures of all kinds still live in some of the remote areas we drove through. Our story became a living reality to Danovan. Our son was mesmerized! Our Road Trip adventure became the inspiration to create GUGS FROM OUTER SPACE. I hope you enjoy the story. This book is designed for Children who ‘still’ believe in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy. The kids can be immersed in the story too, if they have knowledge of Fairy Tales!
A young boy named Dano, begins his early years like most normal children. Dano has a mom and dad who love, nurture, and provide him with all the comforts of home. What would a family be without a pet? Pepe is Dano’s playmate and best friend. When we are children, we believe in everything our parents tell us. There is no reason to doubt a loving parent. Case in point… Santa Člaus lives on the North Pole and brings every boy and girl gifts on Christmas Day! One night, Dano had a dream. Some profound events will take place as a result of his dream. Mom and dad are about to weave a tale that will take Dano on a roller coaster ride of fear and uncertainty. Of course, his parents are telling the truth. Aren’t they? After all, Santa Claus ‘is’ real. Several fairy tale references are mixed within the pages. Your child will reflect on them, become engaged, and have a chance to participate… because they know all about ‘Little Red Riding Hood,’ ‘The Three Bears,’ and more.
